Veronica Ann Edwards is the dynamic and inspirational guiding force behind InGenesis' success. In 1998 she founded InGenesis, Inc., in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas. She initially focused on staffing the telecommunications industry, a natural fit having been nationally recognized as an Outstanding Employee and Top Performing Sales Director multiple times during her 12-year career with a Fortune 100 company. Recognizing the tremendous potential in healthcare, she shifted to medical staffing and achieved tremendous growth servicing top commercial clients, government medical centers and military treatment facilities nationwide.
Unwilling to rest on past successes, Edwards proactively directs her talented team and herself toward continuous growth and improvement. She possesses a Masters in Business Administration from the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW), a Bachelors degree in journalism from Texas State University and is pursuing a Ph.D. with a concentration in human resources and organizational leadership from UIW. A great believer in the importance and usefulness of community involvement, Edwards sits on the Board of Directors for the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio School of Nursing and the H-E-B School of Business and Administration at UIW, as well as the San Antonio Northeast Independent School District Health Careers Advisory Board which was established to encourage high school students to pursue healthcare careers. |
