| InGenesis has created unique medical scholarships which advance healthcare education and careers, and help improve patient care overall. Here is a listing of our current scholarships:
Talitha M. Karstens, R.N., Oncology Scholarship
InGenesis created this scholarship in memory of Talitha Karstens, R.N., an employee who passed away January 26, 2007, after losing a battle with cancer. “As a nurse who was secretly struggling to survive, Talitha always went out of her way to provide warm-hearted personal care for her patients,” says InGenesis President Veronica Edwards. “She was a spectacular human being and nurse who left behind a magnificent legacy for others.” In May 2007 Ms. Karstens was posthumously recognized as a “Health Care Hero” by the San Antonio Business Journal. InGenesis has established this special scholarship to support oncology education and/or training for healthcare professionals who also desire to serve humanity in a highly selfless manner.
